What about virus?.

The burden of living with viruses.

What can be done with virus?
Virus can evade antibiotics. There are some antiviral drugs. There are also some vitamins that help limit the damage of viruses too. There is also information pointing to some foods (lectins) acting as virus spreaders in the body. Like some fast track conveyor for the distribution of virus. Even some food groups like dairy are showing potential for facilitating virus. This mechanism is not clear, because like some additives the dairy might actually be suppressing our immune system rather than facilitating the virus. Let us unpack some of these claims.

Anti viral drugs

There are indeed some pharma options out there.
(opens in new tab) Here this (myvida.co.uk/signs-of-overtraining-what-is-cns-fatigue) article says that the CNS (central nervous system) can be over challenged if one trys to increase the exercise workload too fast. It suggests with each bout of over training one runs the risk of lowering ones' immune system in a fight or flight responce to over excerting oneself and risk either a resurgence of an existing virus like cold sores or a new one gaining the upper hand like a cold or flu.

Why might someone choose to cut out dairy?

It has come to my attention that cutting out dairy may help with reducing some virus infections for some people, especially people with the potential of getting more lung infections than normal. I myself cut dairy out for a period of ten years, but do not remember feeling or noticing any major changes in my viral conditions. However, more recently I tried cheese again! I tried blue French cheese and French Goats cheese. I figured the cheese that may be made with type 1 casein which might be better if one was to reintroduce dairy back into ones life. This is because 1st it is made from casein type 1. Which according the book the China Study suggests that consumption of type 2 casein (the alternative) showed a slighly higher prevalence of cancer amonst its participants, and 2nd blue cheese has live bacteria which has been shown to be good for some esophagus conditions. Also goats cheese contains the right casein.

Maybe it is the casein or lactose?

However, I have decided to cut dairy lactose and casein out again, because I did this time notice a down turn in my physical output, and I was less willing to do stuff. Like I was slightly down. I looked into this and found cheese contains lectins too. Lectins are mostly bad when it comes to virus and auto immune conditions. I discovered that some lectins actually play a roll in helping the spread of virus. So that made some sense, that cutting out dairy helped.

Lectins and Virus.

The next discovery I made was that when I cut out another 3 lectin foods in my diet, white potato, maybe coffee and maybe dark chocolate. I became almost a new man. It seems to me that I was unknowingly helping viruses by eating some lectins that are used by virus to spread, leaving me feeling terrible as the virus needed me to have symptoms for the virus to spread.

What supplements help with virus?

Ofcourse, there are also many supplements that one can take to avert viral disaster. Ones that I use include more than 6g of vit c a day. It is a good idea to take reverstrol with that because, the anti viral properties increase four fold when taken together. However, be aware that some supplements add or naturally contain virus enhancing lectins in the ingredients that are there without their or much of any known knowlegde, because this is brand new stuff. An example is a kind of berberine extract that I took for a short while. I came down with a cold and a herpes out break all in two days of starting to take it. I found some vague resources suggesting a mild link to lectins on some website, but I will need to investigate this a bit more before providing any links.

Covid and supplements.

Whilst other viruses exist, at the moment we still are more thinking about what can be done to inoculate ourselves from covid, but this will extends to all dangerous virus going forward. Have you ever noticed how some people never seem to get ill verses the rest of us that seem to catch everything going? I propose apart from being young which might help, that avoiding virus promoting lectins is one, and taking vitamin c is number two, along with resveratrol and quercetin, etc and three is taking d3 with vitamin k in high doeses.

D3 and covid

D3 is a hormone, and like all hormones they are messengers. Some hormones, although essential for immediate survival like cortisol, can have a negative effect if they are called upon too much. Others like D3 seem to possess and almost magical opposite Here this study is also going further by suggesting it possibly has even an

How much D3 is enough?

Jeff Bowles goes even further and suggests that back in the 1920s it became common practice to take 20mg a day of D, d3 did not exist then, and there was a real benefit seen in the population as a whole. This was a problem for the then private hospitals and pharmaceuticals that supplied them. So it is alledged that a successful attempt was made by the pharma to get D reclassified into iu (international units). This resulted in 20mg of D being transformed into one million IUs. That is 1,000,000 international units. The consequense of this was to make people feel that 1,000,000 of anything has got to be too much. It worked and the amount of D taken dropped over time. Even the RDA (recommended daily amount) has been set very low at 600 to 800 international units. When just 20 minutes in the sunshine, if you are fair skinned, provides a whopping 20,000 international units. So I feel the pharma did a good job in stopping us taking enough D. Infact, it is even more bizzare than that, because, later, the pharma produced a pill that had miraculas curative effects themselves, that was just a high dose of vitamin D3!
